The construction of the Church of the Jesuit's began in 1712, and was built in several phases, the last one adding the tower from 1866 - 1872. The church’s interior has not been maintained, with the exception of the central altar painting. The church is home to the Museum of Ecclesiastical Arts (Museum für sakrale Kunst und Liturgie). There are also areas in the church with documentation on the history of the construction as well as the Order of the Jesuits.
