From February - December 2010, couples will have the ability to get married at the Heidelberg Schloss. This wonderful castle, left in ruins by Louis XIV during the Thirty Years' War and long proclaimed a symbol of romanticism by poets, philosophers and lovers alike, overlooks the city of Heidelberg, the Neckar River and the Neckar Valley.

The castle management, Heidelberg Registry Office and Heidelberg Marketing GmbH have cooperated in order to give couples the opportunity of saying "I do" at this breathtaking location.

The civil wedding ceremony inside the castle costs €300.00 (plus VAT), and is in combination with one of the following options from Schlossgastronomie Mövenpick (Mövenpick Catering at the Castle):

Champagne reception with hors d'oeuvres (Canapés): €19.00*
Buffet with coffee and cake: €14.50*
Seasonal 3-Course-Menu: from €35.00*

Organ concert in the chapel (after 6:00 p.m.; approx. 30 minutes):

Transportation to or from the Heidelberg Castle in a Rolls Royce limousine:
