sculpture park heidelberg

The Sculpture Park was erected in 1995 by the former hospital director Dr. Horst Cotta and sculpture Klaus Horstmann-Czech. Developed in conjunction with a large nature park on the grounds of the Orthopaedic University Clinic, the collection of contemporary art was selected by the Heidelberg Art Association and sculptor Hartmut Stielow. The park was designed to give both patients coming to the clinic and the genera public the opportunity to experience modern art.
