The Bonsai Museum opened in 1985 as the first museum of its kind. It currently displays around 100 trees from all over the world. One of the museum’s featured trees is an 800 year-old Californian juniper. In addition to the exhibits inside, there is also a public garden and bamboo forest. Workshops and seminars are also held on occasion.
