One will find this neo-classical arch on the east side of the city at the very end of the Hauptstrasse. Finished in 1781, it was built in honor of Prince Elector Karl Theodor. It was designed by Nicolas de Pigage, and the sculptures were crafted by Peter Simon Lamine.
